On the way back from the lighthouse a trio of otters entertained us - an adult with two juvenile pups. It looked to me like some parental training was happening, as the group worked toward getting to the base of the breakwater, up one set of stairs, across the width of the breakwater & down a set of stairs to the cove on the outside of the barrier. In human terms I equated the sequence to teaching children to cross street safely!
Then we walked on to Beacon Hill Park - Plants, birds, mooching squirrels, Moss Lady, and a bit of rust.
